Wilderness Inquiry Adventure Leadership 2009 Program Application

Wilderness Inquiry's Adventure Leadership Program (ALP) is for young adults of all backgrounds and abilities, including those with disabilities, between the ages of 13 and 18. Activities include wilderness trips, training, and events throughout the year. Youth from all cultural backgrounds and with all abilities, including youth with disabilities, are encouraged to apply for ALP.

ALPers participate in one of three levels. Each applicant is assessed individually to determine the most appropriate level for her/his participation in ALP.

Base Camp: introduction to wilderness skills and inclusive outdoor leadership (No prerequisite)

Vista: intermediate outdoor and leadership skills (Prerequisite is ALP Base Camp or similar experience)

Summit: advanced wilderness and leadership skills (Prerequisite is ALP Vista or similar experience)

The enrollment fee for a full year of participation is $1,200. No payment is required with your application. Applications are due by May 1st each year. Financial aid and payment plans are available. For more information, visit www.wildernessinquiry.org/financialaid.
