A freshman in college, Sam enjoys math and weight training. He finds that having Asperger's Syndrome sometimes requires him to make more effort to keep up with his college workload, but it is worth the effort.

In Sam's Words:Whenever I participate in a WI activity, I feel included, happy and part of something. WI helped teach me I can do much more that I thought possible and that feeling is pretty cool and inspiring. WI has opened my eyes to a lot. Take for example the guy I met while trip assisting in the boundary waters. I took one look at him and saw one thing... his wheelchair. That darn thing makes you think of limitations but after experiencing WI, I knew limits were only perceptions.
